Untapping Social Media
Recently I was given the opportunity to speak at the Tavern League of Wisconsin’s 2011 Spring Convention. As promised here are some free social media dashboards: TweetDeck, HootSuite, Seesmic. This was intended to be an introductory seminar into social media for tavern owners. I first title it ‘Untapping Social Media’ but since have changed it to ‘Tapping Into Social Media’. If nothing else take this with you. A brand is what people say it is (customers and non-customers). That being said, what is being said about your business online? Wouldn’t it be great to see that? Promote positive feedback and address negative? Respond to product questions? Use social media to monitor and track your brand.
